Trial of 50Mb broadband from Virgin Media
A 50Mb broadband service from Virgin Media has today been installed as a trial by Logma. With download speeds far in excess of ADSL connections, this service promises downloading of a complete HD movie (5.5Gb) in just over 15 minutes!

Logma has installed a fully integrated phone system across its North West offices using VoIP technology. This provides integration of one telephone system across all sites, providing the opportunity for remote and mobile resources, supporting the 2011 business plan for increased centres of operation and a reduced carbon footprint.

Fibre Optic link for Leyland Holdings
A new fibre optic link cable has been installed today for Lancashire based Leyland Holdings. The optical link will provide data communications between their main office building and secondary warehouse. Running at 1Gb this provides improved reliability and speed over the existing wireless link.

OneFit to replace Sage at Aqua Cure PLC
Aqua Cure PLC, a leading distributor and manufacturer of water filtration products has chosen Logma's OneFit software to replace its current Sage back office system. With OneFit CRM, Complaints and Web Portal already in use, Aqua Cure will now start to use OneFit software throughout their operation. The result is an End to End solution with MRP and Touchscreen controls for Works Process, Goods in and Despatch operations.

Go Live for The Lemon Tree
Following a successful implementation and training scheduled, Liverpool based The Lemon Tree has today gone live on the OneFit Marketeer system. This replaces the existing Sage 50 system which was unable to deliver the necessary complex pricing structure and split pack stock control that this company required.

New mail gateway server for Lunar Caravans
Lunar has today taken delivery of a new HP ML350 server to be used as its mail gateway. Using Sophos Puremessage, this server will spam check all inbound and outbound mail for the company. This server also uses BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server) to provide Email facilties to staff with Blackberry mobile phones.

10Gb Networking the future for Lunar Caravans
To minimise any bottlenecks on accessing data on the new SSD based server above, Lunar Caravans also opted to install a 10Gb based network with a HP ProCurve 2910al network switch. The 10Gb network offers greater traffic throughput and proved successful after installation.
