Pure Quality is the aim of Aqua Cure Ltd

Having experienced the benefits and power of some of Logma’s OneFit modules, earlier this year Aqua Cure commissioned Logma,  to replace their existing order processing with OneFit Premier,  Manufacturing and advanced Stock Management, which will complete the delivery of a total ERP system for this valued and highly successful Logma customer. The final stage of installation has been delayed due to re-structuring within the Aqua Cure Group, which has now been completed. The system is to be fully integrated across all modules and will support Aqua Cure from an already successful platform with over 80 employees, 20 of which form the Sales Team, to any future level of operation the Directors now aim to achieve. Modules implemented are CRM, Complaints Management and Measurement, Web Portal, SOP/POP, MRP, Works Order Process Control, Stock & WIP (FP & RM) Control, Distribution and Accounting. All areas benefit from LID (Logma’s Integration Dashboard) providing Managers and operatives with collaborative views, KPIs and process driving tools .

iPad 2 Launch this Friday

Despite some supply doubts, the iPad 2 launch is definitely going ahead in the UK this Friday – but not until 5pm.
The word from Robert Peckham, former Executive Director of the Mac Technology Association reseller group, appears to be correct as Apple states: “iPad 2 will be available at Apple retail stores and select Apple authorised resellers at 5pm local time.”

Not first thing in the morning, which will no doubt be a disappointment to the more rabid Apple tablet fans out there. Retailers will have to cram a lot of sales into a couple of hours, or stay open later into the evening.

Mind you, stock might not last that long anyway – it isn’t clear exactly how many iPad 2s are going to be available, but if the launch is anything like the US, some folks will be going away disappointed. And other folks will be going away with several tablets to eBay.

iPad 2 due for UK launch on 25/03/2011

Just under one year ago, Apple shocked the computing world with a 9.7-inch touchscreen tablet that few truly expected.  Some called the original Apple iPad a large-format iPhone. Others berated the name and made jokes that were not remotely funny.

The early reviews were marginal at best – we handed the device a solid four stars. Technical folks decried the lack of Adobe Flash and the missing cameras.

Now, 60,000 apps later (according to Apple, who counts every conceivable option) and just a few weeks after the first real Android 3.0 tablet contender hit the streets (Motorola Xoom), the iPad 2 has sauntered onto the playing field.

The iPad 2 release date in the US was 11 March, while the iPad 2 UK release date is 25 March.
